Version 1.0 — Last updated: July 27, 2026
Purple Squirrel ("the Service") is operated by Julio Eduardo Cabrera del Castillo, based in Saskatchewan, Canada ("we," "us"). Questions about this policy: jcabrera@cuasar.io.
This policy describes how information is collected, used, and disclosed when you use the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here.
Account information (name, email address, authentication credentials); profile and resume content you upload or enter; your activity within the Service (jobs viewed, saved, rejected, application statuses, notes, dates); responses to optional in-app surveys and feedback forms; technical information generated by use of the Service (log data, device/browser information, approximate region). All survey questions are optional and skippable.
To operate, maintain, and improve the Service and our other current and future products and services, including combining information across them to design and develop new products, features, and offerings; to match and rank job listings against your profile; to generate documents and insights you request; to maintain records of consent and account status; to communicate with you about the Service; to comply with legal obligations; and for aggregated or de-identified information as described in Section 7.
The Service uses artificial-intelligence systems, including large language models operated by third-party providers, to process content you submit (for example, parsing uploaded resumes into structured data and scoring job listings for relevance to your profile). Job rankings and generated documents are automated outputs; they may contain errors and are provided for your convenience only. Automated processing affects what content is displayed to you.
We share information with: (a) service providers — third-party infrastructure, storage, and AI providers used to operate the Service, which process information on systems we do not control and under their own terms and practices; (b) legal and safety — where disclosure is required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service; (c) business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Job listings displayed in the Service are received from third-party data providers; your personal information is not transmitted to those providers.
We may create, use, and commercially exploit aggregated or de-identified information (for example, statistics, trends, and market or employer-level insights derived from use of the Service) that does not identify you, for any lawful purpose, without restriction, including publication in public forums and communities.
Information is stored and processed on cloud infrastructure located in the United States and may be processed in other jurisdictions. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information outside your province or country of residence, where different data-protection laws may apply.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Feedback we own under the Terms of Use may be retained after account deletion. Certain other records — including records of consent — may be retained after account deletion in pseudonymized or de-identified form.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may submit requests through the in-app deletion-request screen or by contacting jcabrera@cuasar.io. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and may decline or limit requests where permitted or required by law. Where applicable law grants additional rights (including rights relating to the sale or sharing of personal information), we will honor them as required.
We use commercially reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
The Service is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18; if we become aware of such collection, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
The Service uses cookies, session and local storage, and similar technologies necessary for authentication and operation. We may also use analytics, performance, and advertising cookies and similar technologies (for example, Google Analytics or comparable services), now or in the future, to understand usage and to support and promote the Service. Where applicable law requires consent for such technologies, we will seek it. Most browsers let you control cookies through settings; limiting them may affect functionality.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be presented for acceptance within the Service; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. You may be required to accept the updated policy to continue using the Service.
